Brett Emison is an attorney at

Langdon & Emison battled General Motors through the federal courts and clear to the Supreme Court of the United States... and won. Baker v. GM, 522 U.S. 222 (1998) held that General Motors could not buy the silence of its former employee, Ron Elwell. This 9-0 decision is taught in law schools throughout the country.

Before joining Langdon & Emison, Brett served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Law Review and served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William Ray Price, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Missouri.
Brett currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and is involved in a number of legal organizations, including Injury Board, the Attorney's Information Exchange Group (AIEG), American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA).
