David Sales has expanded the firm's practice base in commercial litigation, mass tort litigation and class actions, while maintaining an active case load in the firm's core practice areas, product liability and professional negligence. He has been listed among the South Florida Legal Guide's top lawyers and Florida Trend magazine's Legal Elite. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Sales began his legal career as clerk to Judge Thomas A. Clark of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He also worked for the Boston firm of Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, where the majority of his time was devoted to representation of public companies in securities fraud and intellectual property litigation.
Mr. Sales has served on the board of directors of the Farmworkers Coordinating Council of Palm Beach County and as vice chairman of the board of trustees of South Florida Public Telecommunications Company (WXEL).
Mr. Sales graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, obtaining both a bachelor's and master's degree in French. He earned his law degree from the University of Chicago, where he was articles editor of The Legal Forum and received the D. Francis Bustin Prize for his note.
