I was born August 14, 1982 at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City. I lived in New York until I was 10 years old, when I moved to Caracas,Venezuela. After a year in Venezuela, my parents decided to move the family to Inverness, Florida where I graduated from Citrus High School as the Valedictorian of my class. I went on to join my sister at the University of Florida on a National Merit scholarship. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 3.5 years with majors in Economics and Political Science with a specialization in International Relations and with minors in Criminology and Education. I then entered the College of Law at UF.
While I was in school, I helped some friends create Cents of Relief. The organization is dedicated to stopping human trafficking and combating, specifically in the red-light district of India. While in law school I worked for the Robertson Group, a civil litigation firm in Gainesville, Florida and as a tutor for the University Athletic Association.
After graduating law school in December 2006 and passing the bar that spring, I began working at Wooten, Honeywell, Kimbrough, Gibson, Doherty, and Normand, P.A. because of the rewarding experience of helping people who have been wronged by the negligence of others. There is nothing as rewarding as assisting those who need the most help and giving hope to the hopeless.
In my spare time, I enjoy rooting for the Florida Gators, Orlando Magic, and the greatest franchise in history, the New York Yankees. I also enjoy reading, playing tennis, and going to the movies.
