Thank you for visiting my profile page. My name is JM Mariotti; and I am a young attorney at the Law Offices of Brady, Brady, and Reilly, LLC, located in Kearny, New Jersey.
Our firm, BBR, handles many different types of Personal Injury matters, and, we pride ourselves in preparing every case for trial, big or small. Other areas of law we handle include Workers’ Compensation; Wills & Estates; Municipal Court (DWI & Traffic); and General Criminal Defense.
I recently joined BBR in 2009, upcoming completing my Judicial Clerkship with New Jersey Superior Court Judge, the Honorable Mark J. Nelson, of Hudson County. There, I focused largely on the practice of family law. But aside from handling DYFS and Family Adoption matters, I also mediated civil cases and complaints for other Judges, including the Honorable Peter F. Bariso, Jr., the Honorable Mary K. Costello, and the Honorable Barbra A. Curran.
Having attended Fordham University, majoring in Political Science, with minors in Philosophy and Sociology, I graduated from Rutgers School of Law (Camden) in 2007. While in law school, my legal work and experience included interning for New Jersey Superior Court Judge, the Honorable Joseph S. Conte, of Bergen County. It also included clerking for prominent New York based criminal and civil defense attorneys, Jeffery Lichtman, Esq., and John C. Meringolo, Esq. During law school, I also interned at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, located in Mineola, New York.
Some of my volunteer work includes having worked in the Rutgers School of Law Domestic Violence Clinic, and having served as a mentor with the Hispanic National Bar Foundation, based in Washington, District of Columbia.
At BBR, I will focus a great deal of my time and attention to civil practice and tort law. In doing so, I hope to be especially valuable and insightful to the legal profession as a whole.
With regards and cheers to all,
JM Mariotti
