Thank you for spending the time to find out more about me.  I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University and then went on to law school at Case-Western Reserve University and received my law degree in 1969.  I moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1970 and in 1971 opened up the Law Office of Jeffrey Meldon.  Since that time I have been a trial lawyer representing the people of North and Central Florida.  I have represented people who have been injured in accidents for over 37 years and take great satisfaction in helping my clients get their lives back together after they have been seriously injured through no fault of their own. 

I enjoy my work and look forward to going to my office every morning and am very fortunate to have a talented and caring group of people who work with me to help get great results for our clients.  Some of my staff have been with me for almost 30 years.  I personally work together with my clients on their case and am always available to talk with them.  I do not take a fee on a case unless I win the case.  Please feel free to contact me to talk about your case and see how I can help you out.

Other Activities, Interests, and Memberships

I love living in Gainesville Florida because I can be a Gator Fan. I go to every football and basketball game in Gainesville and have been to every final four basketball and national championship football game since our first in 1994(final four in Charlotte)I graduated from Ohio State University and still root for the Buckeyes unless they are playing the Gators. The rest of the time I usually spend my weekends in Daytona Beach at my condo. I love to travel and snow skiing has been a passion of mine since 1979. My son Carey is a 3rd year felony prosecutor in Daytona Beach and my daughter Jessica is a 3rd year law student in Miami specializing in immigration law. My fiancee, Nancy Hunter is an Acupuncture Physician and also our marketing director at the Law Office. One of my favorite hobbies is going to workout at the gym at least three times a week for the past 15 years. I live in downtown Gainesville and love going out to the many excellent restaurants within a few blocks of my condo. I know most of the owners and employees so it creates a small town feeling.
