Kent has been practicing law for over 30 years, and is one of the founding partners of Langdon and Emison. Kent served as President of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) from 2005-2006. Kent was on the MATA Executive Committee from 1997-2007 and was Editor of the Missouri Trial Attorney Magazine from 1997-2003.
Kent was recently inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Kent is also on the Attorney’s Information Exchange Group Board of Directors and is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice.
Kent is admitted to practice in a number of Courts throughout the country, including the United States Supreme Court.
Kent has been lead attorney in a number of cases resulting in multi-million dollar verdicts, and has also been lead attorney in many multi-million dollar settlements.
