I am a trial attorney. Our firm handles personal injury, medical malpractice and class action litigation.
We currently represent the Sonics Season Ticket Holders. We were the first firm to file a nationwide class action against Menu Foods on behalf of dog and cat owners. We also worked to successfully resolve the nationwide class action against James Frey and Random House arising from the controversy surrounding A Million Little Pieces.
I was raised in Bellingham, Washington. I attended Stanford University and played varsity soccer. After graduating from Stanford I returned to the Northwest and went to the Seattle University School of Law. I graduated cum laude in 1992. After working as an associate attorney for three years I founded Myers & Company, in 1995.
I have been fortunate enough to have been named a Super Lawyer in Washington Law and Politics magazine. For the past two years I have been identified as one of Washington's Top 40 Plaintiff's Personal Injury Super Lawyers. I am also AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
I firmly believe in the importance of a “life ethic”. I enjoy both resort and backcountry skiing. My wife and I spend most of our free time at Whistler, B.C. and make a trip each summer to ski in Argentina. Last year I played for and won a national championship with Seattle's TA2 over 40 soccer team. I have started riding my bike to work and am doing my best to use my bike rather than our car for trips under five miles.
