  • Driver dies in Alabama 17 accident

    A one-car accident on Alabama 17 in Choctaw County left a woman dead Wednesday, a report from The Press-Register said yesterday.Alabama State Troopers said the woman, who was driving a Ford Taurus, ran off the road and struck a tree. The cause of the accident is unknown, though alcohol has been ruled out. The victim was wearing her seatbelt.
