    On October 9, 2006 at about 6:30 a.m. a Crash on Hwy 16 involving a Big Rig, School Bus and a Jeep was reported. The driver of the jeep had been driving erratically trying to pass the big rig, he suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. On the bus was also a student that received injuries to the head.
