  The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a Milford truck driver hit by another truck in a recycling-materials yard Monday afternoon. Barry Pybus, of Milford, an employee of D'Amato Brothers Trucking Co., also of Milford, was struck and killed at Waste Conversion Technologies Inc., 221 Old Gate Lane.

  A two car accident near exit 12 on Route 2 East occured today in Marlborough, Connecticut, The car accident was reported around 11:07 a.m. today state police said. Information about the severity of injuries reported in this accident was not available. One of the cars in the accident rolled over.

  State troopers are at the scene of an accident near 300 Hatchett Hill Road where a motorcyclist was seriously injured. The accident took place in East Granby. The accident involved a motorcycle and a passenger car. The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Hartford Hospital. The extent of the injuries to the motorcyclist are unknown at this time. • Bus and Car Collide in North Stonington Accident

  The driver of a car involved in an accident with a commuter bus early this morning has been flown by helicopter to Hartford Hospital. The accident at the intersection of Route 2 and Route 201 was reported at 6:24 a.m. There were passengers on the bus. It is unknown if any of the bus passengers sustained injuries.

• West Hartford Car Accident Injures Pedestrian

  In West Hartford, Connecticut, a woman was struck by a car on Sunday night. She was taken to the hospital where she remains - fighting for her life. The woman was walking on Albany Avenue near Starkel Road in West Hartford at about 11 p.m. at the time of the incident. The accident remains under police investigation.

Police said Officer Larry Henrickson was en route to work when his car and another car crashed at Homestead Avenue and Sigourney Street on Monday night.Emergency crews extricated Henrickson from his vehicle.
