Motorcycle Deaths On The Rise

The number of motorcyclist deaths jumped in 2007. One out of every eight vehicle deaths on our roads invovled a motorcycle. Deaths of people in cars, trucks and on bicycles declined in 2007. The jump in motorcycle deaths is being blamed on multiple factors. One, certain states have eliminated the helmet law. Two, more people are riding motorcycles due to high gas prices. With these statistics, be safe out on the road and wear a helmet.
Originally posted at InjuryBoard by James Sabatini
