The Law Offices of Lawrence M. Knapp

Lawrence Michael Knapp was born in Passaic, New Jersey' has lived in San Antonio, Texas and migrated to the San Joaquin Central Valley in 1982. He attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with minors in History and English. Subsequently he attended Humphreys College School of Law (also in Stockton, California) graduating in 1993 with a Juris Doctorate.

Since 1993 Mr. Knapp has been a sole practitioner representing the interests of injured people and their families throughout the Central Valley and Sierras. In addition to his successful law practice, Mr. Knapp has a busy family life with his wife of twenty years and two children. Shortly after becoming a lawyer Mr. Knapp joined the Consumer Attorneys of California and the American Association for Justice. He has been on the Board of Govenors for CAOC since 1997 and is a Past President of the San Joaquin County Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Knapp has been asked to speak and present on issues involving the practice of personal injury all over California. In recognition of his contributions to this area of the Law, Mr. Knapp has received the following awards "Trench Soldier" in 1998 "Outstanding President" in 1999 "Presidential Award of Merit" in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
