Mr. Martin practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and business torts. He has successfully litigated numerous personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting from defective products, tractor-trailer and automobile collisions, defective construction, fires and explosions, nursing home abuse, and dangerous roadways.
Mr. Martin is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Association for Justice, and the American Inns of Court, Madison County Chapter. Mr. Martin has recently become a Fellow of the American Bar Association. Mr. Martin served as president of the American Inns of Court, Madison County Chapter in 2004-2005. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice (he is one of only three representatives from the State of Alabama), and on the Executive Committee for the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association for Justice. Mr. Martin is a member of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum class of 2007 and currently serves on the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum Planning Committee for 2007-2008. Mr. Martin has also participated in the Trial Lawyers Care pro bono project, which provided free legal representation for 911 victims who made claims with the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund of 2001. Also Mr. Martin is currently serving as the president of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley.
