Dan Capron has been board member of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association since 2006. He is also a Big 10 football referee and spends his weekends in the fall traveling across the country officiating Big 10 football games.
The last two seasons he has qualified to work bowl games. In Jan. 2007 he was the referee at the first ever International Bowl in Toronto, Canada. In January, 2008 he was the referee at the New Orleans Bowl. He has been active in Democratic party politics for many years and has appeared on national television many times. He is also a frequent speaker at football seminars and the father of four daughters.
