About Don:
DONALD L. JACOBS, was born in San Francisco, California on October 30, 1953. He attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma Washington graduating in 1975 with a B.A. in Political Science. He attended the Seattle University School of Law receiving his Juris Doctor in 1979. He received his license to practice law in Washington in 1979 and in Oregon in 1990. He is admitted to practice in the following courts: All Washington and Oregon state courts; U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington; U.S. District Court, District of Oregon; and U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit. He is a member of the following legal organizations: Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations; Clark County Washington Bar Association; Multnomah County Oregon Bar Association; Washington State Trial Lawyers Association where he served on the governing board from 1993 to 2000 and is the recipient of the 1997 Alvin Anderson Award and the 2005 Award for Professionalism; Oregon State Trial Lawyers Association where he has served on the governing board from 2000 to the present and currently holds the office of President-Elect; Public Justice; and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Jacobs is a frequent speaker at lawyer education programs throughout Oregon and Washington. He limits his practice to representing Oregon and Washington consumers in injury claims and insurance disputes. He maintains offices in downtown Portland and Vancouver.
