For the first three years of my legal career (after clerking) I did defense work and worked with business in bankruptcy situations. Six years ago I started doing litigation on the other side of the v. I am much happier working on behalf individuals. This side of things is a better fit for my social and political outlook. 

I was born in Ohio and we moved around a bit when I was a kid, but I basically grew up in the South. Although I've lived in D.C. and in Las Vegas, I don't think there is any better place than Northern Alabama. My family and I like to canoe, hike and ride mountain bikes. This is a great place for those kinds of things.

I work on a mix of personal injury lawsuits and class actions and devote equal amounts of my time to each.
