Mike Ferrara

Mike's Biography

Mr. Ferrara is a trial lawyer having tried over 250 jury trials since 1972.    His primary practice is civil litigaton in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.    He, along with five other firms, represented the State of New Jersey in the historic $250 billion dollar tobacco settlement.   He also represents a number of clients who had heart attacks or strokes from taking Merck's deadly drug,  Vioxx.    Merck has agreed to pay all the claimants a total settlement package of $4.85 billion dollars.   

Mr. Ferrara is a past president of the Civil Justice Foundation and a past president of ATLA-NJ,  The New Jersey Trial Lawyer's Association.    He is a recipient of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey Trial Bar Award and ATLA-NJ's Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement. 

He is a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers,  a Governor of ATLA-NJ, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
