Ms. Helms has devoted her law practice to representing and protecting the rights of survivors of accidents causing serious injuries and victims of wrongful death. She has represented injured individuals and their families in a wide range of injury and death claims, including car and truck accidents, workplace accidents, accidents resulting from defective construction, products liability (focusing on products and design flaws which cause devastating fire hazards), and medical-related cases including nursing home abuse and neglect. Ms. Helms also provides representation to individuals involving insurance coverage claims and bad faith practices of insurance companies.
Ms. Helms is a sustaining member of the Alabama Association for Justice, a member of the Huntsville and Alabama Bar Associations, and the American Association for Justice. Ms. Helms has handled cases in numerous counties in Alabama including Madison, Marshall, Morgan, Limestone, Blount, Cullman, Jackson, DeKalb, Jefferson, Shelby, and Montgomery.
