American Airlines Airbus Repaired Day of NYC Accident

The American Airlines jet that crashed into a New York City neighborhood in November 2001 reportedly underwent tail section repairs the morning of the accident. National Transportation Safety Board officials announced this week that a mechanic repaired two control systems in the tail section of the aircraft shortly before the plane departed for the Dominican Republic. The Airbus A300 crashed into the Rockaway Beach section of New York City.
