Thanks to a new website recently launched by ATLA, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the public can now join the fight against tort reform. ATLA describes the website, called People Over Profits, as "an organization dedicated to protecting the right to trial by jury for those harmed by the negligence or wrongdoing of corporations and others."

Site visitors are now able to update themselves with all of the latest information on the fight to protect consumer rights. Access to this important information is crucial if we are to defeat the organized attack on our civil justice system, commonly referred to as "tort reform," lead by big business and the insurance industry. Best of all, concerned citizens may get directly involved by joining the People Over Profits Action Network. Here, consumers may send letters directly to Congress or ask friends to join the battle through postcards sent online.

ATLA is committed to fighting anti-consumer legislation through a number of services similar to People Over Profits.
