There is no agreement on what constitutes pilot fatigue on ultra long-range flights that can last up to 20 hours. Some airlines are addressing the issue on their own, while the FAA may impose new rules on the industry.

A passenger who fell from a cruise ship off the coast of Florida was rescued early this morning by another cruise ship. Law enforcement now suspects the man may have intentionally jumped overboard.

Women are involved in about 2,000 alcohol-related deaths each year. The statistics were released in connection with the National Labor Day Enforcement Crackdown, which targets drivers leading up to the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Two air traffic controllers, on duty at the time of a collision of two aircraft over the Hudson River last weekend, have been suspended. One of them was reportedly talking to his girlfriend at the time of the collision, the other was not in the building. Nine people died.

Saturday around noon, a helicopter and small plane collided and crashed into the river near New York City killing nine. There are calls for regulating the "Wild West" airspace over the Hudson which requires pilots to monitor themselves visually.

While the family of Diane Schuler denies she had a drinking problem, federal statistics show that the number of women arrested for DUI is up, although still fewer then men arrested for DUI.

Diane Schuler was twice the legal limit for DUI and had marijuana residue in her bloodstream before she got behind the wheel of a minivan and drove head-on into an SUV killing herself, four children and three men.

Bruce Rossmeyer, one of the nation's largest Harley-Davidson dealers and a supporter of charitable causes that helped children, was killed Thursday in a motorcycle crash in Wyoming.

Legislation introduced Wednesday would withhold federal highway funds from states that do not ban texting while driving, known to be more distracting than driving under the influence. States would lose 25 percent of the federal highway funds, until the funds were depleted, if they failed to enact the ban.

For $250,000, a group of volunteers bring $1.5 million worth of free medical care to residents of 16 states who are without insurance or underinsured. Volunteers plan to keep traveling around the country.  In some instances, health care is delivered in animal stalls not unlike a Third World country.

The Cancer Project, a nonprofit, would like processed meats such as hot dogs, to be labeled with a warning of a link to colorectal and other cancers. Regular consumption of hot dogs preserved with nitrosamines have been cited by numerous cancer researchers. The food manufacturers deny any link.

Health care reform in the U.S. is heating up with three bills being considered by Congress and President Obama addressing the nation tonight. Requiring everyone to purchase insurance is a common thread, while a system that eliminates insurance companies as middle men is advocated by many physicians, including the president's former physician.
