Defective Jeep Cherokee Doors

Recently the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) began investigating 1993-1995 Jeep Cherokees because of reports that the vehicles' doors were falling off or otherwise malfunctioning due to a defective hinge. Over 2,500 complaints have been filed regarding this problem, including reports of 2 crashes resulting in 8 injuries. Over 350,000 affected Jeeps remain on the road today.
