Fisher Price Recalls 1 Million Toys
Updated August 2007: Fisher-Price Inc. and the CPSC have recalled 967,000 toys because the paint contains an excessive amount of lead. Lead is toxic and if ingested by children can cause heath problems. The toys were manufactured in China and were available in stores all over the nation. The recalled toys were sold from May 2007 to August 2007. All the toys are marked with “Fisher-Price” and may have date codes between 109-7LF and 187-7LF, which would be labeled on the packaging or on the product.
