An Arizona couple is suing Wal-Mart after it forwarded bath time photos of their children onto police, who took away the children, charging the photos were obscene.

With help from the Global Institute for Sustainability, Wal-Mart says it wants to soften the impact of chemicals on our bodies and waste on our environment. Tomorrow, the company is expected to announce an electronic indexing system to determine the environmental, social and health impact of products on its shelves.

Breaking with the business community, Wal-Mart is backing President Obama’s plan to require employer-back health insurance coverage for all employees. The nation's largest retailer currently employs 1.4 million in the U.S.

Wal-Mart Stores has agreed to better control crowds, something it didn’t do in its post-Thanksgiving Day stampede that left one man dead in a Long Island store last year.  It's part of a settlement to avoid a repeat at all 92 New York stores and it also avoids criminal prosecution for the giant retailer.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has settled 63 class action lawsuits that accused the world's largest retailer of wage violations for at least $352 million but no more than $640 million. The settlement ends pending actions in several state courts and in Nevada federal court.

100,000 current and former hourly workers joined a class-action against Wal-Mart, and on Tuesday the giant retailer agreed to settle with Minnesota employees. They will receive more than $54 million after Wal-Mart cut into worker's breaks and had them working off the clock, a violation of state labor laws.

A wrongful death lawsuit will be filed by the siblings of a man who was hired as a temporary worker at a Long Island Wal-Mart. He was trampled to death when the store opened its doors to about 2,000 bargain-hunters on Black Friday.

It was the discounts of Black Friday that saw a Long Island crowd burst through the doors of a Wal-Mart and knock down a security guard trampling him to death. Others were injured including an 8-month pregnant woman.
