Alcohol and drug abuse are affecting kids at younger ages than they have in the past; in fact, “approximately one-half of all high-school seniors in the U.S. admits to having used alcohol or illegal drugs during their high school years” and middle-school aged children are among the most popular demographic to experiment with such substances.
