Two adults and three children were killed earlier Thursday when a logging truck and car collided in North Carolina near Winton in Hertford County. The driver of the logging truck was not injured. Too many overweight trucks are being allowed on our highways and roads. The government restricts weight to 40 tons on most interstate highways.
