The latest injury updates from across New Hampshire

Once again, a natural disaster has struck our Country. In San Diego, California thousands of homes are still threatened by massive fires. Our first prayer, of course is for the personal safety of all the residents of the area, and all the brave responders battling the fires. But it appears likely that many homes will be destroyed, which will cause home owners to look to their insurance...

Recently Extreme Home Makeover, the television program, came to the aid of a Manchester family of six that has struggled since the Mother's day flood in 2006. The family lost their home with all of their belongings in the flood and was forced to watch their home be demolished. Since that time, the family has lived in a second floor apartment next to the lot where their home once stood while...

Two years ago, under pressure from the medical and insurance industries and despite efforts by consumer groups, the New Hampshire legislature passed a law requiring all medical malpractice claims to be screened by an allegedly "neutral panel" before the claim could be heard in court. The insurance and medical groups argued that it would provide an efficient, time and cost saving method of...

During the next several weeks, our roads in Central Vermont and New Hampshire fill up with the out of state tourists we affectionately call "leaf peepers." Another avoidable accident occured the other day on Route 107 in Deerfield. According to police reports a Lincoln Navigator crossed over the center line of the highway and crashed head-on into a Chrysler Sebring sending 3 people to the hospital. There are many reasons why New Hampshire highways have so many accidents and collisions, but one thing is clear -- The vast majority of accidents are...

The Lambert vehicle was going the wrong way on this limited access highway. Lambert was arrested after the accident and charged with drunk driving. Bailey was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. For more see...

Many of us are aware O.J. Simpson is back in the news as a result of criminal charges filed against him in Las Vegas. Most of us also know that the former football star was acquitted at his murder trial. What fewer people realize is that the families of the murder victims, Simpson's former wife, Nicole, and Ron Goldman, brought a civil suit against him for money damages. This civil trial ended...

I often get calls from people who believe they have been the victims of medical negligence. Often these individuals will tell me that they don't want to launch a full scale malpractice suit. Rather, they only want the doctor or hospital to admit the mistake and to pay for their medical treatment related to the malpractice in the future.Unfortunately, these cases rarely resolve so easily....
