The accident today in Oswego countyJoseph Kanaley, 64, of Martville, was driving a 1995 GMC south on county Route 34. He stopped at the stop sign at state Route 104 and then continued into the path of a 2005 Ford tow truck. Two horrible accidents occurred over the weekend. The first accident involved a woman who turned around at a thruway toll station and then proceeded to get go down an off ramp thus driving head on with oncoming traffic. On Saturday, November 3 an oil tanker crashed a lighthouse off the coast of Staten Island. The tanker, Axel Spirit, slammed into the light house tower at around 2 a.m. The tanker damaged the tower's legs, so the tower's light is no longer rotating and is not considered reliable. In a car accident that occurred yesterday two people were killed when two horses got loose from their owner. Although this appears to the public as a freak accidents car accidents involving horses, cows etc. occur quite frequently. Another unfortunate car/bus accident occurred yesterday in Auburn when a teenager apparently pulled out in front a bus causing a collision that killed one of his passengers. This is just another example of a rash of accidents involving teenagers and involving deaths. It does not appear that there is any answer to the issue as raising the driving age would not solve the problem as in my opinion...

A Louisiana town has passed an ordinance against baggy pants.With all the issues and concerns we have in our country should our elected representatives be spending time with that issue? Much legislation is need that can benefit our citizens we need to focus on those issues not nonsense.
